Welcome to FIGHTER NOT KILLER, a comprehensive quiz designed to assess your understanding of the Laws of Armed Conflict.

WAR HAS LIMITS AND NOT EVERYTHING IS PERMITTED

Are you able to determine whether targeting a hospital is lawful if the enemy is firing from within it? Can you accept minors as combatants if their age is uncertain? Is it permissible to feign surrender as a tactical deception? Are police forces considered legitimate military targets?

This quiz provides all the necessary answers. It guides you through 28 scenarios that explore various topics including warfare tactics, fundamental rights, medical and humanitarian assistance, armament regulations, and child protection. Upon completing these six thematic areas, you have the option to progress to the Commander Level, which presents more complex situations.

The application was developed by Geneva Call to promote adherence to the Laws of Armed Conflict, emphasizing international humanitarian norms especially those safeguarding civilian populations during conflict.

Geneva Call is a Switzerland-based non-governmental organization that engages armed non-State actors—such as insurgent groups, guerrillas, liberation movements, and self-declared authorities—to encourage compliance with international humanitarian law, with particular focus on civilian protection in armed conflicts.
